Your comment reminded me about TopWebcomics, so I went to see how we're doing on there... 18th place, ahead of MISFILE. HOLY CRAP. You readers are .. Just ... Wow. I realize that they'll probably blow past us eventually, but it's been a full day, and they have SOOOO MANY readers in comparison to our tiny little comic.
Thank you guys so much for your support. You're incredible! (Side note, not that he needs the support from us, but if you enjoy cars, racing and a story about a guy in a girl's body, Misfile's a great comic. It's one of the ones that isn't on CF that I can say I'm usually caught up on.)

Sweet Neptune's buttocks if I had a million dollars I'd pay you to draw me as a character into this page just so I can kick that big oaf in the nuts...unless they don't feel pain there anymore in which case a shotgun would do.

@T.Gatto - Yes. That's sort of a theme I'm addressing in this portion of the story. The Enlightenment changed people, some for the better, some for the worse...
It changed the system, and those who threw humanity to the wind are typically the ones who benefitted from it. Others got carried along for the ride, like Beth.
However, once the humans had all died out, ruthlessness is no longer a positive trait... Some have adapted better than others to that fact.

Since Beth "didn't see" any blood or green substance when treating R.Z. / stung herself finger, I'm assuming it's inactive. But then: when she feels urge for John and his... boner, is she driven by hormones - which are carried by blood vessels inside the body?

I was a bit confused when reading the RZ reveal would be on 22 whatever and looking at the url and seeing /272. The easiest way is to just look at the top of the page... I guess I could go back and change all the names to include the actual page number, but I can't guarantee that I will :)

Happy New Year everyone! First TOGM of 2012!
So the purpose of this strip was two-fold. Well, three-fold if you count trying to win the 'most text walled page in a long time' award.
Firstly, I wanted to continue letting Chad rant. He's been pretty ticked for a long time, so I figured he could use some monologuing...
Secondly, and probably far more importantly, I wanted to show his motivations. He doesn't have to be right, or even make complete sense to the readers... I'm just hoping that it explains his behaviours, while at the same time hoping that you guys don't feel that he's justified in his actions.
Like I tell my kids, you're allowed to feel angry, it's your actions while angry that can get you in trouble...
So I'm hoping that you guys are content that he's not just being a jerk for the sake of being a jerk.
So we have 3 more strips to go before the end of this book... I'm sure you guys are thinking "MY GOD THIS DRAGS ON SOOO MUCH!" but it's really seemed like time flew for a while for me.
I can tell you that the next 2 strips (Thursday and Monday) will be split into 2 scenes each, like I did for the end of the 2nd book. 225, on the other hand, will be a COLOSSAL 5 or 6 panel monstrosity focusing on several different scenes, and wrapping up stuff while subsequently setting the stage for the next portion of the story.
So, we here at TOGM want to extend our best wishes for all of our readers and fellow creators for 2012! See you Thursday!!
